Paul and Christiane Chandonnet
Paul Chandonnet is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in 1992 with a Master’s
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Paul comes from a musical family that enjoys playing piano, singing, and dancing.  He
followed in his parents footsteps by singing and performing in many schools and churches in
the Franco-American communities of New England.  He sings tenor, plays piano and alto
saxophone.  In 1991, Paul enhanced his artistic abilities by enrolling in personal one-on-one
training in the rhythm and smooth social ballroom dances in Lowell, Massachusetts.
In 1985 Christiane Maltas Chandonnet graduated from Montclair University with a Bachelor’s
of Science Degree in Business.  Throughout her college years she worked for Bally’s Jack La
Lanne as an aerobic dance instructor.  Because Christiane has such a diverse European
background and a love for different types of ethnic music, this gave her a natural talent for
mixing and creating different types of music and dance routines.
In 1997 Paul and Christiane met at Brandis’s Dance Theatre.  They both became active
members and excelled rapidly in the majority of social ballroom dances.  In 1998 they
became members of Salsa and Swing teams, training and performing in group routines.  In
the year 2000, Paul and Christiane moved to Flemington, NJ and have continued training in
the formal American and International Ballroom dances.  They have become active in various
dance related events in Hunterdon County and currently serve the people by participating in
the following associations:
-  Miracle Performing Arts School
-  HealthQuest of Hunterdon
-  Hunterdon County Senior Citizen’s Center
-  Kingwood Senior Citizen’s Center
-  Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce
-  Flemington Raritan Bureau Association
-  Big Brother and Big Sister of Hunterdon County.
Whether you have two left feet, or you just want to learn a few steps to look good at a
social or wedding events, Paul and Christiane, with their great sense of humor and easy-
going style, have the patience and experience to make any beginner feel and look good.
